A young Kazakhstan singing sensation taking the over the world with his wide vocal range and a world- famous French singer who has dominated the music industry for decades are coming together for a phenomenal duet performance.

Dimash Kudaibergen and Lara Fabian have finally announced the coming soon of their much-awaited duet. Fans of both Dimash and Lara have been anticipating collaboration between the two singers since Dimash Kudaibergen performed his rendition of Lara Fabian's "Adagio" on the 6th episode of the Chinese “I’m Singer” fifth edition singing competition.

Dimash Kudaibergen joined the “I’m Singer” singing competition that began airing on January 21, 2017, to represent his country Kazakhstan and have a shot at becoming a star. Right from his first performance, Dimash captivated the hearts of many and quickly gained popularity across Asian and French mass media. He, however, grabbed the attention of the world-famous French singer Lara Fabian midway through the singing contest when he performed her song “Adagio” in English.

Lara herself was so pleased with Kudaibergen’s performance that she congratulated him on the rendition as well as his success musically and in the competition on her official Facebook page. This initial contact marked the beginning of a journey that would culminate to a future duet. It is reported that Lara Fabian asked her manager to make arrangements for her to meet this rising Kazakhstan singer with an impressive voice. Plans were made, and Dimash Kudaibergen accompanied by his father and manager flew to Paris where the two singers met in person.

Since the initial meeting, plans have been underway for a collaboration between the two musical maestros. Their fans, on the other hand, took matters into their own hands by creating their versions of collaborations through song mashups of the two singers. However, with the recent announcement of a duet coming soon, fans may not have to wait for long to see their two favorite singers on one song.
